At Kamat Medical Foundation's Pimpri Nursing School, was started on 2 nd June 2004 with the intention of providing quality health care at an affordable price, conduct research in the field of medicine, and provide education in the field of medicine and related branches. Kamat Hospital is a Gynaecology/Obstetrics Hospital in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune.
The foundation has started a post MBBS DGO courses in affiliation with The College of Physician's Surgeons of Mumbai, in January 2005 and passed a resolution to start Pimpri Nursing School in August 2010. Pimpri Nursing School, Pune is a very popular college in the state of Maharashtra. Pimpri Nursing School, Pune was established in 2010. It is one of the leading colleges in Medicine and Health Sciences. It is located in Pune, Maharashtra. Pimpri Nursing School, Pune is a private institution. General Nursing and Midwifery course is taught under UG Diploma in this institution Pimpri Nursing School undertakes community outreach and revitalisation efforts for rural and urban population including Geriatric, women and adolescent empowerment, education and life skills development, healthcare and hygiene, preparing vulnerable communities for alternate livelihoods, and infrastructure support and facility management. The approach of education in Pimpri Nursing School GNM course is a Learning and Participatory Method to ensure community involvement and ownership in programme planning, implementation and monitoring.
